This 28,4 ha grape/tomato farm is located west of Vredendal along the Olifantsriver. The average grape harvest during the past 6 years were 483 tons per annum. Tomatoes do very well in this area and there are 2 ha tomatoes planted every year.
Water is obtained from the Lower Olifantsfontein Scheme by means of a canal and the total registered water usage rights are for 12,2 ha. All vineyards are under drip irrigation and there are two dams on the higher part of the farm.
In total 19.6 ha are under grapes. Cultivars include: Chenin Blanc 7,3 ha; Columbar 5,5 ha; Muskadel (white) 2,5 ha; Korente 2 ha; Cabernet Sauv 0,8 ha; Ruby Cabernet 0,8 ha; Hanepoot 0,3 ha and Durif 0,1 ha.
The farm consists out of 3 Title Deeds which are not adjoined (furthest are 2 km apart).
A large portion of the vineyards lies against the Olifantsriver and during good rainfall the river pushes up into the vineyard which is ideal for the grapes.
Infrastructure includes 4 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms, double garage and 1 shed (220 m2). There are further 6 workers houses which are on their own title deed of 4757 m2.
