This compact wine opener is a third generation wine opener that works on a vacuum pressure theory.  Using a needle to penetrate the cork and injecting air into the bottle the cork will push out gradually from the air pressure.  It is simple to use and has no batteries or electronics.  It is also successful with old corks as there is a very slim chance of them breaking using this method.
