Assistant Wine Maker Vacancy Stellenbosch / Malgas

We are looking for a young qualified winemaker to assist us at both De Trafford, Stellenbosch and Sijnn winery in Malgas.

Own transport essential and accommodation in the Stellenbosch / Somerset West area.

2 weeks a month will be spent in Malgas and accommodation will be provided there. The rest of the month will be spent at De Trafford.

Ability to assist where necessary in every aspect of production from the vineyard to the packaging at both wineries. We do everything by hand so assistance with menial, physical tasks important. Assist with cellar door tastings and sales, especially over the busy summer months. Ability to work on their own and in a team important. Passion for wine and vineyards and pride in work important.

A two year contract is envisaged. Salary negotiable.
