Assistant Wine Maker Vacancy Stellenbosch

Stellenzicht Wines, located in Stellenbosch, is looking for a young and dynamic winemaker, with good interpersonal and leadership skills.  The successful applicant should be fully qualified in both viticulture and oenology processes. The position reports directly to the Winemaker.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist with winemaking; Stock control; SAWIS for wine certification; Responsible for internal purchase orders; Responsible for cellar security; Ensure cellar hygiene; Responsible for cellar building and equipment maintenance; Housekeeping; Ensure that cellar is IPW and SIZA/WIETA compliant; Oversees bottling and Cellar staff management.

Qualifications and experience:
BSc in Viticulture and Oenology or Diploma in Viticulture and Oenology.
Minimum 3 years relevant national and international experience.
