Assistant Winemaker Vacancy Franschoek

A Wine farm in the Franschhoek area seeks to employ an Assistant Winemaker. We are looking for an honest, hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable candidate to be appointed in the above mentioned position.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years’ experience in an Assistant Winemaker role
• BSC Degree, Elsenburg Diploma or relevant Wine Making Qualification
• Computer literate – Microsoft office
• Good planning , organisational and administrative skills
• Sound leadership skills

Duties:

• Assistant role in winemaking
• Personnel Management
• SAWIS record keeping
• Wine MS record keeping
• Ordering and managing stock levels on consumables for the winery
• Responsible for Quality Control measures

Remuneration: Market related

Start date: June / July 2018
