Marketing Executive Vacancy Bellville

A well established brand in the wine industry is seeking a young and vibrant Marketing Executive – PR & Wine Sales to join their growing team in Bellville. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of the wine industry in South Africa and the UK. You will be responsible for the promotion and marketing of various wines.  The candidate should be self-motivated with a can-do attitude; existing media contacts in the wine industry will be advantageous.

Requirements:

• A tertiary qualification in Marketing or PR
• At least 2 – 3 years’ working experience in the wine industry
• Strong writing and proof reading skills
• Proven track record in marketing and promoting wines at events
• Experience with entering wine competitions nationally and internationally
• Sound knowledge and understanding of wines
• Deadline Driven
• Ability to work in a team
• Attention to detail
• Own reliable transport

We are looking for a candidate with a proven track record in marketing and promoting wines at events, experience with conceptualising, implementing and running wine competitions, and a sound knowledge and understanding of wines nationally and internationally.  This person must have strong sales experience and will need to attend expos and events as well as meet KPI’s/targets.
