After 14 years of building the business of Wildehurst Wines I have come to the conclusion that now is the time to hand over management to a new owner.

An important decision such as this is not lightly made but Covid19 has had a significance both for me and Wildehurst.

This has brought about my decision to sell.

Besides our local clients, we currently export to the UK, Belgium, Norway and are endeavoring to dispatch a significant first order to the USA.

We purchase grapes from various farmers all of whom are in the Swartland area. The winery is well equipped and can handle up to 30 tons pa

Our current bottle stock is over 26’000 both in the Wildehurst and Velo ranges

Bulk red wine stock consists of 33 wooden barrels of 2018/2019 vintages.

Debtors amount to R120,000

There is no liability for direct costs only routine monthly overheads.

Our winemaker left us at the end of 2019 and has not been replaced, quite possibly a purchaser will provide their own skills in this regard.

Wildehurst Wines (Pty)Ltd is financed by means of a loan account which will be fully ceded to the purchaser of 100% of the shares at the price of R 2,500,000 This company does not own the building, which is not included in the above price, but owned in my personal capacity and is available for sale at a price of R1,900,000 or alternatively may be leased.

Our Swartland wines are well respected and the range is divided between the premium Wildehurst and Velo which is lower priced. We produce a dry MCC of which I am particularly proud.
