Assistant Winemaker

Klein Constantia Wine Estate seeks a Full-time Assistant Winemaker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should be innovative, organized with strong administrative skills, a passion for winemaking, be qualified in Oenology with previous experience in a similar position.

Under the direction of the winemaker, the assistant will support and supervise all daily winery production activities ensuring that all functions are carried out to the highest of standards. The assistant winemaker will be responsible for wine stock control, SAWIS, cellar administration, daily recordkeeping, basic lab work and all other administrative functions normally associated with the position. Not only will the assistant winemaker be responsible for cellar activities, they will need to make themselves available for marketing activities and travel.
