Our client, the owner of a wine cellar in the Olifants River Valley region, produces top quality wine from approximately 4 / 5 000 tons of grapes per annum. It is an entrepreneurial working environment.
Apart from a qualification in viticulture and winemaking the ideal candidate will be an innovative person with a flair for sales and marketing. The incumbent will not take the full responsibility for the marketing portfolio, as this function will be outsourced, but all the stakeholders will liaise closely with one another. The winemaker/general manager will be actively involved in wine shows and tastings.
Proven credentials will be required. Remuneration will be market related and will include housing facilities.
