The ideal candidate has: a BSc degree in Viticulture and Oenology or similar qualification, at least 5 years’ proven experience as Winemaker of white and red wine, production and quality management knowledge and skills, computer literacy, proper bilingual communication skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, a passion for wine, the ability to perform well individually as well as within a team.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following key tasks:
l producing top quality wine
l planning and management of production processes
l stock control and administration
l quality control
l wine tastings
l personnel management
l record keeping.
