Passionate about wine, sales and marketing? We have the perfect job for you in the employment of a renowned wine estate. We are seeking an individual, preferably based in Cape Town, who is competent and capable of achieving sales growth, both domestically and internationally, while marketing the brand.
Role Definition:
- Trade visits to new and existing customers – build customer relationships
- Organise and present tastings with the aim of listing new wines – both on-con and off-con
- Expand the market, both locally and internationally
- Identify, pursue and manage valuable events/festivals/showcase opportunities – create brand awareness
- Achieve sale targets and grow sales
- Social media marketing – all platforms
- Wine deliveries – incorporate these with customer visits
- Administration – invoicing, statements, following up on payments etc.
- Manage the website and oversee the design of promotional materials and ensure correct representation of the brand (brochures, banners, tasting notes etc).
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience in Wine Sales and Marketing
- Proven sales track record and valuable connections in the trade
- Sales driven
- Extensive wine knowledge
- Excellent administrative skills
- Time management skills
- Sound knowledge of exports and logistics
