A Premium Brand Wine Estate in the Southern Suburbs is looking for an exceptional Sales & Marketing Manager whose main objective would be to elevate the Premium Brand to continuous higher levels of market perception.
Main Responsibilities:
Marketing
Continuously improve hospitality standards on the Estate and communicate at all possible levels the rich heritage of the Estate and the high quality of the products.
Stay abreast of the luxury goods market and be fully informed of trends in this market sector.
Develop contacts and possible cooperation with other role players in the luxury goods market.
Identify the market to be served in terms of:
Identifying new opportunities in the local market and new market segments geographically on a micro, makro and meso level .
Analyze the competition in the market by staying abreast of new information, product and market changes in the wine and tourism sector.
Produce valuable and engaging content for the Estate’s website that attracts and converts their target group.
Identify the promotional/ advertising strategy and the advertising channels for the Estate’s product.
Coordinating and negotiating with the different departments on the Estate and industry role players (wine and tourism) to achieve a result for the product and service that will be financially beneficial for the company.
Cross marketing with the Estate’s restaurants Big 7, and any other possible partners.
Act as a liaison with other neighboring farms and residential neighbours.
Building public awareness and recognition of the company at all levels of society.
Sales
Negotiating set sales target with the C.E.O and review on a monthly basis.
Ensuring effective management of estate retailing outlets.
Ensuring effective and exceptional service delivery to individual visitors and tour groups.
Continuous monitoring quality of service of wine tours, cellar tours, vineyard tours and historical tours.
Establish loyalty programs
Department Management
Lay out budgets for the financial year and adhere to financial related policies
Fostering good relations with other departments.
Managing manpower requirements for sales
Training and Motivation of staff
Appraisal and promotion of the sales and marketing staff
Feedback to the CEO in terms of formal marketing reports.
Requirements of the role:
Degree/diploma in Sales/Marketing
At least 5 years’ working experience in a similar role
Must have proven track record of success in marketing roles, especially of Premium Brands
Confident, driven and dynamic leader
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to spot original marketing opportunities.
