Wine Admin and Marketing Position Somerset West

This passionate hard working person has a great opportunity to be part of an established wine farm in the Somerset West area. The position is varied including Admin, Marketing and assisting in a supportive wine-making role. We are looking for a presentable, honest, hardworking and reliable person.

Requirements:

• Passion for wine and the industry.
• A can do attitude who can work and complete tasks on their own and who is able to acquire the skills quickly.
• Excellent communication skills ( English & Afrikaans)
• Previous experience and knowledge a plus but not exclusionary.
• Own transport
• A tertiary diploma or degree.
• Computer literate
• Strong administrative skills
• Accuracy

Duties include:

• SAWIS – submission of all wines (certification)
• SAWIS stock takes
• Dry Good Logistics: Printing and ordering labels, cartons, capsules
• Application of Export certificates/exemption certifications
• Submission of samples to Dept of Agriculture.
• Wine tastings and shows.
• Assist the winemaker in the making and care of the wine process.

Salary: R15000 – R17000 experience dependent.
