Aaldering Vineyards and Wines in Devon Valley, Stellenbosch is looking to appoint a Winemaker/Viticulturist with a minimum of 8 years’ experience to manage the entire winemaking process of a 150 ton cellar with 19 ha of vineyards.
We are currently exporting to almost 40 different countries and have won numerous awards locally and internationally for our wines. Your duties will include but not be limited to the following; Managing of vineyards, monitoring of spray programs, overseeing pruning, suckering, harvesting, planting of new vineyards, winemaking , bottling, labeling, management of farm and cellar staff, all relevant farm and cellar administration (SAWIS, SARS, IPW, Wineonline) as well as general farm management/maintenance (including security)
