Through their strong premium brands and innovative approach, DGB Pty Ltd is positioned to offer an excellent career opportunity to a senior, forward thinking Viticulturist.          Key responsibilities will be:

* The development and execution of procurement strategies to secure premium grapes from the Western Cape region
* negotiation of all supply contracts
* all harvest logistics for their various cellars
* managing of fruit quality in the vineyard
* grow and manage anti-leaf roll virus strategy
* management of DGB’s farms and Farm Manager
* driving R & D projects
* management of all vineyard related information on SAP
* tastings with DGB’s winemaking team
* local & international travel to support sales and marketing teams.

Requirements for consideration are a BSc Agrig (Viticulture & Oenology) or similar degree supported by extensive experience and knowledge of viticulture gained in the Western Cape wine region. Personal attributes should include excellent skill levels in:  planning & organising, teamwork, flexibility, independence, a strong commercial orientation and a passion for wine.
