This well-established wine grape and tomato farm is situated west of Vredendal along the banks of the Olifantsriver. The average grape harvest during the past 3 years was 1784 tons per annum. Tomatoes deliver on average 1500 tons per annum.

Water is obtained from the Lower Olifantsriver Scheme by means of a canal and the total registered water usage rigths are for 35 hectares. A deep kloof provides the perfect location to build a large storage dam. 31 Hectares are under gravitational irrigation. All drip irrigation is highly mechanized with radio transmitters.

63 Hectares are under grapes. Cultivars include: Columbar 31 ha; Chenin Blanc 19 ha; Korente 4,5 ha; Ruby Cabernet 4,4 ha; Shiraz 2,8 ha and Merlot 1 ha.

The farm consists out of 3 Title Deeds which are not adjoined (furthest are 4,8 km apart).

A large portion of the vineyard lies against the river and during good rainfall the river pushes up into the vineyard which is ideal for this area and also delivers the highest tonnages per hectare. Soil is ideal for grapes and does not have too high clay.

Infrastructure is very well maintained and in superb condition and include 4 dwellings, 1 rondawel, 4 sheds on strategic locations, 4 dams (3 lined with plastic), 4 pump stations with filters and 10 workers cottages.
