•Conduct tutored wine tastings
•Conduct informative vineyard and wine cellar tours
•General daily, weekly and monthly wine stock control in accordance with the needs of the wine estate systems and requirements.
•General daily, weekly and monthly miscellaneous sales item stock control in accordance with the needs of the wine estate systems and requirements.
•Daily cash ups
•Monthly shifting of all wine lounge staff in accordance with budgeted costs allowed for available shifts.
•Management of wine lounge staff with particular reference to, but not limited to, product knowledge, knowledge of systems used in the wine lounge, wine sales, miscellaneous item sales, training, disciplinary measures in conjunction with General Manager.
•Management of wine lounge staff with particular reference to service, efficiency, dress code, sales focus, neatness of the wine lounge.
•Daily, weekly, monthly management of the wine club ensuring effective delivery of wine packs, continued growth of wine club and effective, timeous completion of associated administrative duties and processing of transactions thereto related.
•Daily, weekly, monthly maintenance of wine club members details i.e. delivery addresses, credit card details etc.
•Preparation, management and attendance of local wine exhibitions and trade tastings with the General Manager and or Winemaker as needed.
•Ambassador for the wine estate wines assisting the Winemaker and or General Manager with reception of local or international members of the trade where needed or any sales related activity.
