*Ensure the Terms and Conditions for third party agreements are in place
*Plan and consult on a regular basis with the Vineyard Manager and external growers to develop and ensure the production of quality grapes.
*Purchasing, receiving and processing of quality grapes
*In liaison with Vineyard Manager – harvesting of the grapes
*Planning, preparation and processing of red and white wine
*Filtering and stabilising of the wine up to bottling
*Management and control of the bottling process
*Ensuring availability of dry stock at all times
*Bulk stock controls
*Ensure quality controls in place and adhered to
Cellar:
*Ensure the proper maintenance of all equipment and apparatus in the cellar
*Ensure Cellar hygiene standards
Marketing & Sales:
*Involvement in wine sales/promotions/trade shows
Behavioural Indicators:
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to make accurate observations, and the ability to analyze and solve problems
*Professional attitude and strong work ethic
*Strong organizational ability and high level of attention to detail
