This challenging position is the ideal opportunity for a dynamic and energetic individual to join the Mountain Ridge team to be responsible for their tasting room and assist with a variety of administrative duties.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
– reception and receiving visitors
– accounting duties (debtors / creditors)
– wine sales and stock control in the tasting room
– organising of events
– general administration.
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
– Grade 12 (applicable tertiary qualification e.g. Public Relations / Hospitality will strengthen the application)
– previous experience in a promotional / sales environment
– administrative / accounting experience (e.g. debtors- / creditors clerk) will serve as recommendation
– professional, friendly and well-groomed personality
– excellent communication skills in Afrikaans and English
– accuracy and good organising / planning skills
– excellent interpersonal skills
– computer literacy (MS Office, Pastel, Wine MS)
– knowledge of winery accreditations will be an advantage.
